Support Us
René Cassin works to bring a Jewish voice to the struggle to promote and protect human rights, in the UK and abroad.
We rely on the generosity of like-minded individuals for the funds to continue our vital work.
Become a ‘Friend of René Cassin’ by making a regular gift
A regular monthly, quarterly or annual donation is one of the best ways in which you can support our work. Regular giving is simple to set up, cuts down on our administration costs and allows you to spread the cost across the year. A regular gift enables us to plan for the future, because we know we will have a steady income stream that we can rely upon. You can become a ‘Friend of René Cassin’ by making a regular donation here or by downloading a Friend of René Cassin form here.
Become a René Cassin Patron
Our Patrons have chosen to make a significant investment (£1000 or more) in our work. In return, we involve Patrons closely in René Cassin’s ongoing campaigns, through exclusive events and updates. You can download a Patrons form here.
Get your organisation involved via Corporate Sponsorship
René Cassin Corporate Sponsors provide financial and in-kind support for our programmes, including awareness-raising events and educational resources. These corporate donations also support our general operating fund. With a variety of options, our corporate sponsorship programmes will also strategically support your marketing, branding and corporate social responsibility goals. For more information contact the office by calling 020 3621 5464 or emailing info@renecassin.org.
Leave a lasting legacy by remembering René Cassin in your Will
Monsieur René Cassin left the world a precious and lasting legacy – the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
By making a gift to charity in your will, you can ensure that the causes you espouse during your lifetime continue to flourish. Such gifts are also tax-efficient as they are exempt from inheritance tax and do not count as part of an estate.
Drawing up a will, or adding a codicil to an existing will, is a serious and personal matter. There is no magic form of words for use in a will and you, or your advisers, will doubtless wish the form and type of any bequest to fit in with the remainder of your will. We can, however, suggest the following wording as a starting point (you would choose the option in square brackets most appropriate to your wishes):
I bequeath to René Cassin, 853 Finchley Road, London NW11 8LX, registered charity no. 1117472, [the sum of £_________] [__%of the residue of my estate] [the residue of my estate] free of all taxes to be used by René Cassin at its discretion and I declare that the receipt of the Director of René Cassin or of any other authorised officer of René Cassin shall constitute a good discharge to my Executors.
