Are you interested in joining a small but effective London-based human rights charity through a period of growth and development?
René Cassin strives for a world where all people fully enjoy their human rights as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and members of the Jewish community are actively engaged in promoting and protecting these rights.
Named after the Jewish co-drafter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Monsieur René Cassin, the organisation works to promote and protect universal human rights in defined human rights areas such as discrimination, asylum and modern slavery, drawing on Jewish experience and values. We achieve this by campaigning for change through a combination of advocacy, policy analysis, public campaigning and education and building the capacity of activists and lawyers to promote and protect human rights.
As the organisation is growing, the Board is seeking a new Trustee to help lead the organisation in sustainable growth and profile-raising and help it to realise its potential as the leading voice for universal human rights in the Jewish community.
Our new Trustee will have experience in communications and/or PR, enthusiasm for our mission and a willingness to commit time and energy to the role. We are seeking a creative thinker with a collaborative working style. A broad understanding of the Jewish community would be an advantage.
If you are interested in this opportunity, download our information pack or feel free to email René Cassin’s Director at mia.hasenson-gross@renecassin.org
